Violet Beatrice Bailey was born May 13, 1924 in Cushing to Aaron Lorenzo Chadwick and Edith Cordelia Glackin Chadwick.
She passed away May 9, 2014 in Chandler four days shy of her 90th birthday.
Violet was a resident of Davenport for over 40 years. She raised nine children and loved to garden, fish, and spend time outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Edith; four children, Doris Cripps, Loyd Williams, Roy Williams, and Wade Williams.
Survivors include her children, Larry McMillan of Guthrie; Howard McMillan and his wife Carol of Anderson, Missouri; Arlene Griffin of Gore; Richard Williams and his wife Peggy of Santa Rosa, California; Paulette Sporleder of Guthrie; twenty three grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
Her family will host a private memorial service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
