James W. "Jim" Bailey, 81, passed away October 5, 1977.
He was born in Grimes, Oklahoma to James and Mamie Bailey.
Jim was a retired mechanist from T.A.F.B., a veteran of World War II, a member of St. James Catholic Church, a member of the V.F.W. and was also named volunteer of the year at Salvation Army.
He is preceded in death by both parents; his first wife, Jo; two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys of the home; his son Paul Bailey and wife Carrol Perry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a daughter, Mary Naeher and husband David of Tuttle; a step-son, Vernon L. Hedge and wife Martha of Tyler, Texas; a sister-in-law, Lou Bailey of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Matt Naeher and Kelly Naeher; four step-granddaughters and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 1977 at the St. James Catholic Church.
