George Gregory Bailey, son of Arthur Le Roy and Ruth Naomi (Lawrence) Bailey, was born on September 20, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan and passed from this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.
George worked in the construction industry as a painter. He was a very interesting man with many stories to share. He enjoyed the time he spent with his niece and nephew: David and Bonnie Stuck. George will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Ruth Bailey, brother: Gary Bailey and sister: Dorothy Angus.
George is survived by his children: Deanna Delacruz and husband Rick of Birch Run, MI,Gary Bailey of Mt. Rose, MI, Barbara Bailey of Flint, MI, Billie Bailey of Mt. Morris, MI, Bobby Bailey of Flint, MI, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, a special niece and her husband: Bonnie Stuck and husband David, great nephew: Christian Stuck, of Westville, OK, siblings: Jim Bailey, Pat Reece, Jerry Moshier, Joanne Rose, Janet Willbanks, Nancy Dotson, Sandy Dotson, Karen Smith.
He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Private family services are planned for a later date.
