Henry Arroyo Baez, age 75, living in Lawton, was born on July 24, 1944 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Paulino Arroyo Vega and Margarita Baez Sepulveda. Don Henry, as we affectionately called him, was a human being of high caliber, committed to his fervor to God. He was always known for sharing the word of God in his interactions with others. We regret his unexpected departure. We lost a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be forever missed. Fly high Don Henry!
The Arroyo Carreras family sorrowfully regrets the departure of our husband, father and a caring man and friend to all who know him. He died peacefully at Comanche County Memorial Hospital on December 29, 2019 with his family by his side.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Carmen M. Carreras; their three sons, Henry Arroyo Carreras, Noel Arroyo Carreras and Marco A. Arroyo Carreras; their two daughters, Awilda Arroyo Carreras and Maria del Carmen Arroyo Carreras; his sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Aaron Trachte, MD, FACS of CCMH and his staff for the care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry’s name to the American Heart Association.
