Rose Ann Bacon, age 77, and resident of Afton, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at St John Medical Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. Rose Ann was born on April 10, 1938 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Walker Jamieson and Amy Bennett Jamieson. She grew up and received her education in Ramona Oklahoma.
Rose Ann married Ted Bacon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They lived in Bartlesville for many years where she worked for the Bartlesville Police Department. Prior to her work with the police department she worked as a court recorder in Washington and Tulsa counties. They retired to the Grand Lake area and have made their home there for the past several years.
Rose Ann enjoyed many activities and was a member of local quilting and crafting clubs. She loved cooking and all her friends and family can attest to her excellent cooking skills. She was dedicated to the welfare of animals and had many pets throughout the years including the six dogs who now reside at her home. She loved her family and her many friends and acquaintances. She will be missed by all. Rose Ann is survived by her husband, Ted of the family home, children; Jamie O'Dell and wife Teresa of Ramona, Oklahoma, Shawn O'Dell of Ramona, Oklahoma, Leon Bacon and wife Kelly of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and JoLynn Bacon of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Justin and Ashton O'Dell of Ramona, Teddy Williams of Bartlesville, Greta Smith of Bartlesville, Michael Manes of Bartlesville, and Brady Bacon and wife Xia Xianna of Winchester Indiana, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Amy Jamieson.
