Constance Renee "Connie" (Serr) Backlund
April 15, 1962 ~ December 31, 2010

Constance Renee Backlund, born April 15, 1962 in Guthrie, OK to Donald and Erna Serr, passed away at OU Medical Center on December 31, 2010.

Connie married Larry Gene Backlund in Friday Harbor, WA on April 23, 1983. They later moved to Colorado and eventually settled in Guthrie.

She is preceded in death by her father Don, brother Danny, and grandparents Ernest and Lois McClure and Leo and Eva Serr.

She is survived by her husband Larry, daughters Tristin and Ashley, son Jeremiah, and grandson Justyc all of the home, mom Erna Serr of Guthrie, brother Don Serr of Redding, CA, sister Sara Tracy of Camano Island, WA, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Guthrie First Assembly Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
