Memorial services for Ashley Amber-Lynn Backlund, 27, of Guthrie, OK, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Born December 31, 1987, Ashley lit up any room. She had a smile that was always contagious. She loved to laugh and when she did you knew it was genuine.

Ashley had Cerebral Palsy but this didn't stop her from getting anything she wanted.

Ashley is preceded in death by her mother, Constance Renee Backlund, her grandfather Donald Serr and her grandparents Hjalmar and Ruth Backlund.

She is survived by her father Larry, her brother Jeremiah, sister Tristin and her nephew Justyc of Guthrie and Grandma Erna Serr of Washington as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins from Washington, California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Maine.

There will be no visitation.
