In 1987 he retired from active missionary service and taught one year at Baptist Bible College. Clyde served the Lord at Seminole Baptist Temple as Senior Director and taught the Golden Opportunity's class. He also published the ARC (Association of Retired Christians) Newsletter that was sent to churches throughout America. In his spare time he built a lake house in Golden, MO and invited many pastors, missionaries, friends and family to enjoy it.
