Carolyn Faye (King) Avey

Carolyn Faye Avey, 65, of Tonkawa, OK, passed away at home on January 5, 2020. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 13, 2020 at the First Assembly of God Church, Tonkawa, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home, Tonkawa, OK.

Carolyn was born on October 8, 1955, in Ponca City, OK, to Gerald E. and Grace L. (Smart) King. She enjoyed OU football, attending the Assembly of God Church and loved her grandchildren very much. Carolyn worked for Southwest Cupid in Blackwell, OK for over 31 years.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Brandy Waffle and her husband, Matthew, of Ponca City; grandchildren, Raleigh Waffle and Jetta Waffle; sisters, Jolene Gregory, of Tonkawa, OK, Marolyn Schultz and her husband, Lester, of Tonkawa, OK, good friend, Mark Schultz, several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford L. Avey, Jr.; her parents and nephew, Randy Pedigo.
