Rose Helen Scott McNeil Aument, 78, Aztec, died Wednesday August 23, 1989 at her home. She was born July 27, 1911 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 1989 at First Baptist Church, Flora Vista, with the Rev. E. V. Mead officiating.
Burial was in Aztec Cemetery. Pallbearers included W. A. Reust, Bob Pyatt, Earl Randlemon, Randy Randlemon, Lee Ray Huddleston and Mike Huddleston.
Mrs. Aument was retired from Basin Title Company of which she was vice-president.
She is survived by sons, Ray and his wife, Barbara L. McNeiland, of Gresham, Oregon, Bill McNeiland of Cedar Hill and Jerry and his wife, Barbara McNeiland of Relestertown, Maryland; sisters, Olive McClellan of Los Alamos, Bertha Porter of Elk City, Oklahoma and Zola Sprowls of San Antonio, Texas, and a brother, Clayton Scott of Raton. There are seven grandchildren. Her parents, A. C. and Lillie Scott were former residents of Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Cope Memorial Chapel, Aztec, was in charge of arrangements.
