Betty Jean (Penry) Atkins

November 17, 1932 ~ July 18, 1994

Betty Jean Penry Atkins, age 61, was born November 17, 1932 and passed away July 18, 1994 in Fresno, California after a lengthy illness of cancer.

Betty and her husband Don owned and operated United Travel agency in Fresno, California for the past ten years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Michael; and one brother, Dennis Horrell.

Betty is survived by her husband Don of Fresno, California; one son Doug and his wife Todene of Visalia, California; and two grandsons, Christopher and Michael; a sister, Mary Jo Davila of Fresno, California; and two brothers Leroy Penry of Leedey; and Nolan Horrell of Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Services were held on Friday July 22, 1994 at Northwest Church on Fresno, where Betty was a member.

Interment was at Visalia District Cemetery in Visalia, California.
