Jonathan Travis Ashlock, 41, of Marietta, passed away on September 4, 2024. He was born in Gainesville, Texas on December 4, 1982, to Aubrey Ashlock and Eugenia Kay Timms.
Jonathan earned his living as a mechanic/truck pusher, 07 Energy and Wayne's Roofing. He attended Callisburg High School and Gainesville High School. Jonathan married Cristina Braudaway on November 11, 2006, in Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eugenia Kay Ashlock; father-in-law, James Braudaway; and grandparents, Lloyd & Wanda Ashlock.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Cristina Marie Ashlock of Marietta; son, Daniel Keith Day of Thackerville; daughter, Marlissa LeAnn Gonzales of Ardmore; son, Jonathan Travis Ashlock, Jr. of Thackerville; daughter, Saydie Leeann Ashlock of Kerrville, Texas; son, Dylan Wayne Ashlock of Marietta; son, Joseph Wallace Ashlock of Marietta; son, Dakota James Ashlock of Marietta; father, Aubrey Dewayne Ashlock, Sr. of Thackerville; stepmom, Bobbie Jo Garza; stepbrother, Joe Landeros; stepbrother, Steve Torres; sister, Josey Bevans of Thackerville; sister, Jessie Chamber of Thackerville; brother, Aubrey Ashlock, Jr. of Thackerville; mother-in-law, Tammie King of Woodbine, Texas; father-in-law, Joseph King of Woodbine; and 10 grandchildren with two on the way.
Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville.
The pallbearers were Jonathan Ashlock, Jr., Daniel Day, Dylan Ashlock, Joseph Ashlock, Jason Chambers, Josh Skrobarczyk, Troy King, and Joe Landeros. Honorary pallbearers were Dakota Ashlock and Nevin Elmore.
