A Celebration of Life for James "Jim" Arwood, age 73, of Enid, will be 4 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. The United States Marines will provide military honors. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jim was born on September 21, 1948, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Arnold and Katy (Stephens) Arwood, and passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, in Enid.

He met the love of his life, Cindy King, on November 14, 1996, and they celebrated 25 years together before his passing. They blended their families together, and welcomed many, many grandchildren into their family over the years.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Arwood, of the home in Enid; daughter, Ryan Priest and husband Jason, of Enid; daughter, Ramey Holsten and husband Keith, of Enid; son, William Posey and wife Teri, of Kentucky; son, Christopher Arwood and wife Mickie, of Massachusetts; son, Gary Arwood and wife Tosha, of Enid; son, Shane Arwood, of Kansas; sister, Barbara Stoy, of Kansas; brother, Ace Arwood and wife Sunny, of Ames; thirteen grandchildren, Alexis, Mazzy, Natalie, Jensyn, Hayden, Darrian, Blake, Landyn, Ali Grace, Jalin, Bentley, AJ, and Jax; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Bentley, Hutch, and Murphy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Katy Arwood, and sisters, Margaret and Beverly.
