Service for Harold D. Arnold, 63, who died Saturday at his home, No. 4, Thousand Oaks, after a short illness, will be at 2 PM Tuesday at Central Christian Church. Doctor Lloyd H. Lambert will officiate. Cremation will follow. The casket will be open until 9 AM., Tuesday at Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.
He was born September 2, 1925, in Enid and attended Enid public schools, graduating in 1943. He entered the U. S. Navy at age 18 and served four years during World War I I with the 5th Amphibious Force. He also served two years during the Korean Conflict aboard the U. S. McGenty.
In 1946, he married Jean Hyland. He received his bachelor's degree from Phillips University and his master's from the University of Oklahoma, Norman.
Arnold was employed by Equi-fax Corp. for the past 32 years and at the time of his retirement was Vice President in charge of public relations. He returned to Enid after his retirement in 1986.
Surviving are his wife, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter in 1973.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division.
