Bonnie Lynn Arnold age, 61, passed on Sunday December 1, 2024, at her home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She was born April 11, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan to Clarence and Maxine Vliet.
Bonnie married the love of her life Mike Arnold on December 22, 1990, in Oakpark, Virginia. They later moved to Moore, Oklahoma and settled in Tecumseh where they raised their eleven kids. Bonnie had a huge heart and always had more love to give after having four kids of her own. Bonnie and Mike fostered over one hundred kids and gave so much to helping save children’s lives. They later felt called to adopt special needs children after mom heard a story about a child that no one wanted in the doctor’s office. They adopted Armando which later led to adopting a total of seven special needs children. Bonnie loved to be outside either on her lawn mower, in her garden, watching her fish swim in the koi pond or in the summer swimming in the pool with her grandkids. Besides Bonnie’s favorite thing of being a mom she equally loved being a Nonnie to her six grandchildren. She would have given the world to every one of them and was truly the happiest person when the grandkids were around. Bonnie’s heart was boundless, which she also showed through her adoption and fostering of animals. Over the years she has taken in countless animals and volunteered many hours with local animal rescues and shelters. She counted her puppies as her kids and loved them all dearly.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Maxine Vliet, her daughters Meagen, Brianna, and son Tre.
She is survived by her husband Michael Arnold, daughter Brandy and Monty Stricker of Edmond OK, and son Dustin Holt of St. Augustine, FL, daughters Emily and Chris Dossey of Tecumseh OK, Jaimie and Hunter Carolan of Lodi, CA.
