Jason Allen (Schultz) Arnhols, 38, of Ochelata died Thursday July 26th unexpectedly at his home in Ochelata.
Jason was born December 17, 1973 at San Antonio Texas, the son of James Schultz of Des Moines, IA and Sherry Buckman of Des Moines, IA and Tulsa, OK. He was raised in Des Moines until he was 5, then moved to Tulsa with his mother where he received his education at Tulsa Public Schools and Union Schools. Throughout his school years he was active in football, swimming and many other activities upon graduating from Union High School in 1992. He later attended the Platt College in Tulsa where he received an Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting and Design. He later worked in that field for several years.
He was married to Shelia Payton in Claremore, OK on November 10, 2007. They made their home in Ochelata for the past few years. His hobbies included gardening, cooking, reading, watching historical documentaries, and spending time with his daughters and family.
Mr. Arnhols is survived by his wife Shelia Payton-Arnhols of the home, two daughters; Paige Arnhols of Broken Arrow and Gabrielle Arnhols of Bixby, one brother Nick Arnhols of Tulsa, his mother Sherry Arnhols of Tulsa, his stepfather Harry Arnhols of Tulsa, his mother and father in-law James and Margie Payton of Ochelata, and two sister-in-laws and their families. He was preceded in death by his father James Schultz, his uncle Robert Schultz, and by his paternal grandparents. Jason will be dearly missed by his extended family members of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends in Iowa, and so many of his Briar-Glen and Union school buddies. Beloved son, husband, father, brother and more you will be missed greatly.
