Robert Garrison "Gary" Armstrong
February 16, 1953 ~ April 16, 2020

Our beloved husband, brother, father, and friend Gary Armstrong passed away in his sleep on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Gary was born and raised in Ponca City, graduating from PoHi in 1971.

Gary was a wanderer for many years, during which time he met Melodee. Melodee and Gary just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Gary was a sensitive, gentle soul who loved his family and his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis Garrison Armstrong and Chester Lee Armstrong, Jr.

Gary’s survivors include his wife, Melodee; sons, Christopher Todd Armstrong and Anthony Hayden Armstrong; brothers, Lee and John; sister, Kay Ellen; and Speedy, his 14-year-old whippet.

He will be missed.

There will be no services.
