Anthony, Kansas – The funeral for Mary Faye Armstrong, 80, will be 11 AM Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary. The Rev. John Schnelle and William Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

She was a homemaker and a former teller for paramutual horseracing. She died Friday, June 15, 2001.

Surviving are three sons, Chuck of Erda, Utah, Jack of Fort Gibson and Al of Sedgwick, Kansas; one daughter, Susan Armstrong Smith of Bluff City, Kansas; two sisters, Peggy Daniels of Winfield, Kansas, and Evah Beard of Anthony; 11 grandchildren; 13 great – grandchildren; and one great – great – granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
