September 25, 1949 ~ April 5, 2015

Mr. Dennis Lee Armstrong, 65, of Bartlesville, died at 11:39 P.M. on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa following a brief illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Armstrong will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday at the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

The Armstrong family will receive guests at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, Massachusetts 01202.

Mr. Armstrong was born in Los Angeles, California on September 25, 1949 the son of Dudley Harry and Patricia (Rennie) Armstrong. He grew up and received his education in San Diego, California where he graduated from high school in 1967. He then attended Mesa College in San Diego where he earned a certificate in design drafting.

He married Margie Manriquez-Rizza in San Diego, California and they later moved to the San Jose and then Monterey, California areas. He was married to Alberta Griffith at Los Altos, California and they lived in the Santa Clara, California area. He moved to Arkansas in 1989 and then to Bartlesville in 2000.

He was married to Charyl Jo (Hann) Miller on October 5, 2000 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. And they have made their home in the Bartlesville area since that time. He was employed at DSR (Diversified Systems Resources) in Bartlesville. He was a member of the Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church and he loved camping, fishing and hunting. He was also a jet fighter enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife Charyl, twelve children, Jason Armstrong of Knoxville, Tennessee, Katie Campbell of Rogers, Arkkansas, Peter Armstrong of Jacksboro, Texas, Lisa Armstrong of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jeff Shannon of New Mexico, Holly Blodgett of Norman, Okla., Timmy Miller of Houston, Texas, Jay Miller of St. Louis, Missouri, Leah Miller of Bartlesville, Patty Miller of Bartlesville, Kevin Miller of Tulsa, Okla., and Shawn Miller of Tulsa, Okla., 16 grand children and one brother, Michael Armstrong of Beaverton, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
