Charles Bruce Armstrong, Jr. 'Chuck' 77, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Chuck was born August 5, 1931 in El Paso, Texas to Charles Bruce Armstrong, Sr. and Alice Williams Armstrong. He was a birthday present on his Father's 28th birthday.
Chuck was a graduate of Classen High School and a United States Navy veteran and retiree.
He worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for over 30 years and finished his sales career with Edgewood Homes. He was a talented artist and had paintings around the world. He loved travel, gardening and was a devoted volunteer his entire life for many organizations and worthwhile causes. He had many friends and loved his family. He was a man of integrity and honor.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sisters: Sandra, Shirley and Julie; 2 wives Rachel Elizabeth and Edna 'Jean'.
He is survived by two children: Steve Armstrong and wife Chris of Denver, CO; daughter Teri and husband Marion 'Buck' Wagnon of Edmond, OK; granddaughter Jennifer Carter of Midwest City; Sister Rosalyn 'Roz' and husband Ronald Boatright of Denver, CO; brother-in-law Robert Lindauer of Houston, TX ; many nieces and nephews and special friend Anita Jackson of Midwest City, OK.
