Terry Lynn Armer was born November 11, 1946 in Dalhart, Texas at Coon Memorial Hospital to parents Newton and Pauline (Hambright) Foster. She passed from this life on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Terry enjoyed being around people and had a giving heart and would help a friend or stranger with everything she had. Terry loved to play Bingo and was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, listening to his many songs. She loved her cat Pearl, watching all her soap operas, crocheting, sitting on the porch, and camping and fishing. Terry was married a few times but was not married at the time of death.
Terry has 3 living brothers, Mike and Greg Foster both of Dalhart, and Jay Foster of Amarillo, TX, and Howard Foster who passed away at the age of 8; she has 4 kids, Noah Armer of Dalhart who passed January 2017, James Armer of Austin, TX, Shannon Armer of Tishomingo, OK, and Yvonne Miller of Amarilllo, TX; many grandkids, Elizabeth Baty of Amarillo, TX, Shelly and Ginger Armer of Fritch, TX, Dylan and Cole Armer of Austin, TX, Ty Armer of Wichita, KS, Kirk Armer (deceased) of Dalhart, TX, and Sierra Muncy, RJ Muncy, Carlos Muncy and Adrianna Muncy.
Terry's family would like to thank all the wonderful people who made her final days as comfortable as possible: Amber, Jimmy, Patsy and Sharon of Aspire Hospice; Holly and the staff of Blue River Nursing Center; best friends, Danny and Vickie Lemons, and Ruby Mayer; and her son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Rhonda.
Terry's wishes were to be cremated and her final resting place be in Dalhart at the Family plot. A small family service will be held at a later date.
