Kristen Monroe Arkeketa-Scott, a resident of Calera, Oklahoma, beloved son, family member, and member of the Choctaw Nation left this life too soon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 9, 2018 at the age of 40. He was born in Talihina, Oklahoma to Roger and Rhoda (Eyachabbe) Scott on December 14, 1977.
Kristen worked as a general laborer in the fast food industry. He had a great personality and loved to joke with others, and never met a stranger. Kristen enjoyed sports, especially basketball and volleyball.
He is survived by his parents, Roger and Rhoda Scott of Calera, Oklahoma; brother, Greg Scott and wife Lauren of Calera, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Chinah. Destiny, Taloa, Bubba, and Jaiden. Kristen was preceded in death by his grandparents. Mary and Rufus Eyachabbe and Jasper and Savannah Scott; biological father, Freeman Arkeketa, Jr.
A wake will be held from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday May 17th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A funeral will be at 10:00 AM Friday May 18th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Rev. Nathan Scott officiating.
