Marion Ansel Archer, 79, of Amarillo, died Friday, .
Services were at 1 p.m. Monday in Northwest Baptist Church with the Rev. David Fletcher, senior pastor, officiating and the Rev. Ronald M. Archer, associate pastor, assisting.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26 conducted military rites.
Mr. Archer was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1956. He worked in civil service.
He was a member of the Northwest Baptist Church.
He married Fleta Juanita Taylor in 1933 at Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters Billie Francis Hunt of Amarillo; and Patricia Goodard of Maryland; a son, Ronald M. Archer of Amarillo; two brothers, Mansford Archer of San Diego; and T. J. Archer of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Ladine O'Conner of Phoenix; and Rovena Chambers of Oklahoma City; elevn grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
