GUYMON, Okla. - Nettie Belle Applegate, 97, died Monday, April 15, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Guymon First Assembly of God with the Rev. Billy Martin officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in West Plains, Mo., by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.
Mrs. Applegate was born Aug. 12, 1904, in Norborne, Mo. While living in Guymon, she worked for Memorial Hospital as a cook.
Survivors include her children, Mary Rhoads of Guymon, Alberta Leisure of Glenwood, Iowa, and Wayne Applegate of Fallon, Nev.; and numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association and those will be accepted at the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
