Kenneth J. Anson
April 27, 1944 ~ 1989

The funeral for Kenneth J. Anson, 45, 1116 E. Oklahoma, will be at 2 PM Thursday at Central Christian Church with Dr. Lloyd H. Lambert officiating. Assisting will be Rev. Billy Joe Hannon. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Anson was born April 27, 1944, in Newport News, Virginia, and died Sunday at Okeene Municipal Hospital after an apparent heart attack at Canton Lake.

He had moved to Enid in 1982 from Las Vegas, Nevada, and served as general manager of Dougherty Press. On September 30, 1982, he and Dianne Dougherty were married.

He was a member and past president of Kiwanis Club and a member of Oklahoma Masters Swimming Club. He worked with children in Aquatic Club and was active in the YMCA.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mary and Lisa Trofibio of New York; one son, Jeffrey Trofibio of New York; two brothers, Steven and John, both of Los Angeles; three sisters, Kathy Anson of Los Angeles, Patti Cullain of Elkins, West Virginia, and Nancy Composto of New York.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to YMCA Pool Fund.
