Ralph Arlen Anglin

July 9, 1933 ~ January 27, 2010

Ralph Arlen Anglin, 76, Midwest City , OK was born July 9, 1933 in Oklahoma City and passed from this life on January 27, 2010 after a long illness.

He grew up around Oklahoma City area and graduated from Midwest City High School. He joined the Army and served stateside during the Korean War. He served for '3 years, 2 months and 12 days,' then worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Civil Service for 16 years, retiring in August 1977.

He was a Boy Scout Leader and a YMCA Baseball coach for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Nathaniel Floyd and Flora M. Womack Anglin; mother-in-law Lucille Johnson; his fraternal twin, Richard Allen Anglin; nieces Robin Anglin and Laurice Ross Lakin, brother-in-laws Lee Berry, Maurice Ross, and Joseph Donald Stoepker.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 54 years Carolyn Gayle Anglin of the home; daughter YvondaSieber and husband Eric of Norman, son Ralph Anglin, jr. and wife Cathyof Choctaw; grandchildren Caleb Anglin ofChoctaw; Jessica Sieber and husband Cody Sheik of Norman; Krysta Bacon and husband Matthew of Choctaw; and Jason Sieber of Colorado Springs; brothers N. Floyd Anglin and wife Janis, John Anglin and wife Milbria, and Dwight Anglin; and sister Anita Berry; father-in-law Carmon Johnson; sister-in-laws JoAnn Ross, Karen Stoepker, and Mary Chou of Sacramento, CA; and a host of much-loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held February 1, 2010 at Barnes and Friederich at 10 am. Interment will be at 4 pm in Lone Wolf, OK. The family would like to thank Manor Care and Quality Hospice for the personal care and support.

Pall bearers will be the grandchildren: Caleb Anglin, Jessica Sieber, Cody Sheik, Krysta Bacon, Matthew Bacon, and Jason Sieber.
