Jan Joan (Perkins) Angle

Jan Joan (Perkins) Angle

Jan Joan Angle was born on September 20, 1931, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Charlie and Margaret (Kinney) Perkins. As a toddler, Jan was adopted by Andrew Thomas "A.T." and Blanche Crawford. She attended Blackwell Public Schools until moving to California just prior to high school graduation. Jan then attended the University of California at Berkley. She married Merle Angle of Blackwell in 1954. She resided in Blackwell until moving to Edmond. She later had the opportunity to move to Pueblo, Colorado. Jan lived there until moving back to Kay County in 2004. 

Survivors include her five children, which include four sons, David Angle of Oklahoma City, Jeff Angle and wife Maria of Bartlesville, Mike Angle and wife Teresa of Ponca City, and Kirk Angle of Ponca City; a daughter, Teresa Hill and husband Roger of Hobart. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Ethan Angle of Broken Arrow, Dustin Angle of Bartlesville, Kristin Angle of Stillwater, Drew Angle of Ponca City and Laura Hill of Norman. Jan was blessed with one great granchild, Mason Angle of Bartlesville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Gayle Angle. 

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 22nd, in the Roberts Chapel in Blackwell with the Rev. Don Angle officiating.
