Rebekah Dianne"Becky"(Marsee) Andrews
October 22, 1950 ~ April 22, 2019

Rebekah “Becky” Dianne Andrews, age 68 of Goldsby, OK passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 22, 2019. She was born October 22, 1950 in Norman, OK. Becky was the middle child of three children born to Jimmie James Marsee and Peggy LaRue (White) Marsee. Becky grew up in the Goldsby community and attended her first three years at the Goldsby School. She then went to Washington Public Schools where she graduated with the Class of 1968. After high school Becky attended Oklahoma Baptist University for two years before getting married. On Nov. 6, 1970 in Washington, she married her high school sweet heart, Billy Wayne Andrews.

Becky and Bill soon started a family and she worked as a stay at home mom until her children started school. While the kids were growing up, they spent many weekends at the lake, camping, fishing and swimming. She finished her degree at The University of Oklahoma in Elementary Education. Becky then taught at Purcell Elementary School for 20 years until she retired.

Becky was a faithful Christian and an active member of the First Baptist Church, Washington, OK for over 50 years. She also enjoyed singing with a sextet group for many years.

Becky had many hobbies and talents; throughout her life she enjoyed swimming, cooking, and sewing. After she and Bill retired, they enjoyed playing and singing with various friends at the local senior citizens center and fundraising events.

It’s hard to say Becky without saying Becky and Bill because they did so much together. They enjoyed restoring antique Farmall tractors and traveling around Oklahoma. Most of all, Becky loved her family and always enjoyed family get-togethers. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by:

Parents, Jimmie and Peggy Marsee;

Her sister, Virginia “Ginger” Ruth Carlton,

Her brother, Bobby Joe Marsee.

She is survived by:
