Charles "C.B." Andis

Charles "C.B." Andis
December 6, 1931 ~ September 14, 2017

Charles "C.B." Andis, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, left this life in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and began his new life with his Savior, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the age of 85 years, 9 months, and 8 days. He was born on December 6, 1931 in Old Allison, Oklahoma to Joe Benton, and Annie Mae (Howard) Andis. C.B. married his sweetheart Linda Roberts in Madill, Oklahoma on December 26, 1958. 

C.B. served his country, and state, in the United States Army, and the Oklahoma National Guard. He spent his life working the land, and caring for his cattle as a farmer, and rancher. C.B. was a "jack of all trades" possessing the skills to do many things. His favorite pastime was trading cars. 

C.B. is survived by his wife, Linda Andis of the home; son, Bret Andis and wife Carissa of Atoka, Oklahoma; daughters, Kay Lynn Roberts, and husband Steve of Durant, Oklahoma, Lesa Rochelle, and husband Randy of Durant, Oklahoma, and Laura Beth Davenport, and husband Mikel of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, June Devereaux of Durant, Oklahoma, Melba Graham of Durant, Oklahoma, Shelba Hammonds of Durant, Oklahoma, and Virginia Hanson, and husband JW of Mesquite, Texas; ten cherished grandchildren, and ten cherished great-grandchildren. 

C.B was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Annie Mae Andis; sisters, Natoma Hooper, Kay Miller, Lawanda Heil, and Mary Katherine Loftis; and grandson, Brody Davenport. 

A memorial service will be at 10:30 AM Saturday September 23rd at the 7th and Beech Church of Christ in Durant, Oklahoma.
