Virginia (Barnes) Anderson

July 4, 1929 ~ Nov. 17, 2013

Virginia Anderson was born July 4, 1929, in Enid, Okla., to Lester E. and Florence (Elkins) Barnes and passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.

Virginia married Buddy J. Anderson on Nov. 2, 1946. He preceded her in passing on March 7, 1985.

She worked as a bookkeeper and worked many years for the Great Salt Plains Boy Scouts Council. Her greatest job was being able to take care of her granddaughter.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy and husband Patrick Seltenreich; granddaughter, Melissa Seltenreich; brother, L. Sam Barnes, all of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded by her husband, Buddy, parents, and one sister.

Memorials may be made directly to Cimarron Council Boy Scouts of America.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be shared online at
