Tonya McSperitt Anderson was born October 10, 1962 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Wanda Mae and Thurman McSperritt. She passed away October 4, 2015 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 11 months and 24 days.
Tonya grew up in Sayre where she attended school and graduated from Sayre High School in 1980. Tonya married Larry Anderson and they moved to Louisiana where their children, Brook and Boz, were born. They later lived in Pampa for a time before she returned to Sayre in 1990 to make her home. Tonya loved cooking for her kids and playing cards with them but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, sewing, watching OU football and looked forward to the holidays, especially Halloween.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy Thurman McSperitt.
She is survived by her children, Boz Anderson, Oklahoma City, OK and Brooke Plummer and husband, Ryan, Sayre, OK; 3 grandchildren, Camden Plummer, Beckham Anderson, and Charlee Plummer; 3 sisters, Rhonda Vaught, Canute, OK, Yvonne Attebery, Elk City, OK, and Lorri Hudson, Sayre, OK; 1 brother, Greg McSperitt, Burns Flat, OK, and a host of other relatives and friends.
