Orpha Louise Culp Anderson born to Clare Lancaster and Mina Mead Culp March 26, 1924 died June 3, 2016, she was 92 years old. Born in Oregon, Missouri. She graduated form high school in New Point, Missouri in 1943.
She had 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 adopted niece who was raised like a sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
She married in 1952 to Lee W. Anderson of St. Joseph, Missouri.
Orpha is preceded in death by her husband and son, John Wayne Lipari. She is survived by sons John Anderson of Ardmore, OK and LeRoy Anderson and wife Patti of Guthrie, OK, numerous grandchildren, great grand children and great-great grandchildren.
Orpha worked for many years for Swift Meat Company of St. Joseph, Missouri and Whitaker Cable Company of St. Joseph, Missouri while helping run the family farm. She milked 30 head of cows twice a day by herself for 20 years. Along with all the other womanly chores of raising a family on a farm.
She moved to Guthrie after the death of her husband in 1993 to be closer to her family. She will be missed by all.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with Robbie Robbins officiating. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Hayes Funeral Home.
