Donna Mae (Sundet) Anderson passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was born and raised in Williston, North Dakota and was the daughter of Lloyd and Edith Sundet.
She married Duane Anderson on September 5, 1959. Duane's employment in the energy industry brought them to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where they raised their family and later spent most of their retirement years in Edmond, Oklahoma. Donna was a social butterfly and was involved in the Bartlesville Service League, PEO and various bridge clubs where she made many life-long friends. She loved to sing and dance. She loved Christmas and created traditions for her grandkids to cherish. At the time of her death, she was a member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa and was a member of various Lutheran Churches over the years.
She is survived by Duane and her three children, Greg of Tulsa, David of Owasso, and Kristen (Harris) and husband Jeff, of Bixby. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren which she loved dearly, Samantha, Dylan, Sydney, Luke, Eli, Caden and Ryan. She is also survived by her siblings, Bob Sundet (Beverly) of Midland, Texas, Jeanne Olson of Williston, North Dakota, and Lois Wear (Jim) of Inverness, Florida and various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A socially distanced service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa at 10:00AM, Friday, January 29, 2021 officiated by Pastor Scott Burmeister. Services will also be live streamed for those who wish to attend online at https://www.facebook.com/ChristTheRedeemerLutheranChurch
The family wants friends and family to be safe and fully understands decisions to honor Donna by attending online.
