Bette Anderson

Aug 31, 1924 ~ Jul 05, 2001

Bette Anderson died July 5, 2001, in her Davis home. Born on Aug. 31, 1924, in Pauls Valley, Okla., she was 76 years old.

She was raised in Pauls Valley until moving to San Jose in 1948. She lived for some time in Southern California until moving to Davis four years ago. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Davis, the Davis Senior Center and the Woodland Senior Citizens Center, and did volunteer work at Courtyard Healthcare in Davis. She was loved by many of the residents at Courtyard, where she made many birthday cards for residents who do not have family or did not otherwise receive cards.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Finch of Torrance and Michael Anderson of San Jose. She also leaves a sister, Norma Clark of Elmore City, Okla.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Monday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Davis, 770 Pole Line Road. Remembrances may be made in her name to the First Southern Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Chapel.
