Gilbert Loya Alviso
April 27, 1929 ~ July 3, 2008

The funeral for Gilbert Loya Alviso, 79, formerly of Ringwood and Enid, was held July 9, 2008, in West Jordan, Utah. Arrangements were by Redwood Memorial, West Jordan.

He was born April 27, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, and died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in the Army from 1949 to 1952, serving in the Korean War.

He married Jeanette Salazar in 1953. He was a longtime member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are 11 children: Marilyn, Gilbert Ray, Kim, David, Jeanne, Adam, Suzanne, Amy, Alicia, Aaron and Jared; 28 grandchildren; and two great – grandchildren.
