Jessie "Lovenia" Victoria Alvarado was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma on December 5, 1930 to Fred Bevers and Jessie Kelsey Bevers. Lovenia passed from this life April 3, 2014.
Lovenia lived in rural Pauls Valley her entire life.
She worked hard at many jobs over the years. She worked for many years as a job foreman and landscaper at Twam Nursery and later at the Homeland bakery until retiring.
Lovenia was never one to shy away from hard or messy work. You could find her mowing her lawn or keeping her property in top shape well into her late seventies.
Lovenia was married to Murl Moyers for 30 years and they raised four children together.
Lovenia was preceded in death by her first husband, Murl Dee Moyers, her son, Murl Alvin Moyers, her parents and her brothers Alton and Ross Bevers.
Surviving family includes her children, Kay Joyner and husband, Jim, Linda Harmon and husband, Alvin, and Phyllis Stephens. Also, her grandchildren, Mel Joyner and Jeniece Tate both of Pauls Valley and Stephanie Potthoff and Brandon Stephens both of Norman; as well as nine great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The family will have a private service only. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
