Geneva Kothe Alston, long-time resident of Ponca City, passed away on May 12, 2018. She was 93 years old. Geneva was born on January 6, 1925 in Osage County, Oklahoma.
Geneva worked as a concession manager for the theatres in Ponca City most of her adult life. During her later years she maintained a scrapbook for the Poncan Theatre and would attend performances at the theatre as often as she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Martin E. Kothe and Olive Ethel Looper and her husband, Rutledge Barnwell (Barney) Alston.
At Geneva's request, there will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to her beloved Poncan Theatre, 104 E. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
