Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ruth, 4 sisters, Rosemary King, Barbara C. Sutton, Katherine J. Vaughan and Zelma N. Evans.

Our mom was a great wife and mother, both roles she took seriously. She loved to cook, always trying new recipes, canning, sewing our clothes and making quilts. She also helped our dad in his mechanic shop, and they hauled hay in the summer, she could out work many of men. She was an avid reader and loved to learn new things. Our mom was the person everyone went to for advice, the door was always open, and the coffee was fresh. Dad and mom met and fell in love in 1962 and remained so. They built a life based on love and respect. Mom was incredibly intelligent and had a wicked sense of humor, making jokes until the end. Mom loved being a grandma and maintained a close relationship with her grandkids, plus her many nephews and nieces.

Our mom had been ill with COPD for 3 years, but never lost her spirit. Mom was a beautiful lady and will be greatly missed. As per her wishes, there will be no services.
