Tommy Scott Allison was born October 3, 1953 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Ruthie Marie and Thomas John Allison. He passed away December 20, 2012 at his home near Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 17 days.
Scott grew up in Sayre graduating from Sayre High School in 1971. After graduation, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business finance. After college graduation, he began working for First National Bank in Sayre until 1978 when he went to work in the oil and gas leasing business with his father and farmed on the side. Scott enjoyed fishing and working with his horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Sawyer and husband, Tom, Sayre, OK; niece, Stacy Heath and husband, Dale, Ft. Worth, TX; nephew, Shawn Sawyer and wife, Shannon, Sayre, OK; great niece and nephews, Landon Sawyer, Logan Sawyer, Alison Heath, and Dalon Heath, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service:
A private family service will be held at a later date under
the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
