Anita Hope (Williams) Allison
March 21, 1931 ~ March 10, 2019

A memorial service for Anita Hope Allison, age 87, of Allen, Texas, formerly of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Garland Road Baptist Church with one of Anita's grandsons, Mike Barton officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Anita Hope Allison went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Allen, Texas. Anita was born to Clarence and Pauline Williams on March 21, 1931 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Anita was married to Jack Howard Allison on December 16, 1949 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Jack and Anita made their home in Guthrie, later moving to Enid. Jack and his cousin Kenneth were the long-time owners of Enid Iron and Metal, where Anita helped with keeping the books. Jack and Anita attended First Baptist Church, where Anita served as Wedding Coordinator, and later were founding members of the Garland Road Baptist Church. Anita was a longtime volunteer at the Bass Hospital Gift Shop.

Anita is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Duane and Barbara Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Wayne Barton of Anna, Texas, her son and daughter-in-law Larry and Janet Allison of Enid, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her father and mother, two sisters Mary Cue and Gail Temple, one brother John Williams, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Garland Road Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
