Mearl Allen, Broadway actor/singer, was born on 8 June 1926 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Beverly and Ramound Allen.
He was married to Geri Allen and was the father of Beverly and Ramound Allen by a previous marriage. He and Geri were the parents of Reese Allen. He was the grandfather of Dan and Joe Allen and the brother of Chet Allen.
