Kelly Renee Ehrsam Acuna Allen of Mead, Oklahoma passed away from this life suddenly Friday March 15, 2024 at the age of 57 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born on January 8th 1967 in San Jose, California the middle child born to Ernest Raymond Ehrsam and Carol Jane (Wood). She was married twice, the first to Richard Acuna and then later she married her life partner Danny Allen. Kelly and Danny lived in Eufaula and Stonewall before settling in Bryan County in 2011 where she completed her education. Kelly graduated from Hanford Joint Union High School District in Hanford, California. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master’s Degree of Vocational Rehabilitation from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She had such a passion for helping others. She utilized her degree with a primary focus in substance abuse helping those with addictions. She helped many people from all walks of life to enjoy a life of recovery. Recently she found a calling to help school age children with behavioral issues. Kelly loved working for Riverbend Counseling. Kelly was a member of Narcotics Anonymous for over 20 years. She took her recovery very serious. Kelly had a wonderful relationship with the Lord. As a child she attended many denominations with her parents and grandparents. Kelly had many interest in life however taking care of those she loved was by far her favorite hobby.
Kelly was preceded in death by granddaughter Santana Fox, maternal and paternal grandparents; H.R. and Regenia Wood, Shorty and Mary Ehrsam, parents; Ernest Raymond Ehrsam, and Jane Wood Ehrsam Evans (Ken), Sisters Michelle Moore and Melissa Miller, In laws Jack and Shirley Allen and a niece Elizabeth Chatman.
Survivors include her husband Danny Allen of the home; son Cory (Carrie) of Eubank, Kentucky and her daughter Jenna (Kevin) of Stonewall, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Elizabeth, Landon, Gunner, Bentley, Addilyn, Ella and a grandbaby due in May. Uncle and Aunt; Lloyd and LouAnn Deeds, Ada, Oklahoma, A brother Sonny ( Stacy), Furguson, Kentucky and a sister Tracy ( David), Cartwright, Oklahoma as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
If you knew Kelly you loved Kelly. She will be greatly miss by many people. Cremation services have been selected. A Celebration of Life is planned at Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma on April 2, 2024 at 1 P.M.
