Christina Alewine, 42 year old Laverne resident, passed away, Wednesday December 4, 2024 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Laverne United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Christina Marie (Mulbery) Alewine was born May 3, 1982 to Gary Wayne and Barbara Ann (Randall) Mulbery in Buffalo, Oklahoma. Christina grew up and graduated from Laverne High School. She was united into marriage to Mike Alewine at the Buffalo Courthouse. They made their home in Laverne and Christina has lived their since.
Christina worked as a personal care aide for Elara Caring. She loved taking care of her animals, playing a good game of Farkle, making beaded bracelets, trying her hand at different homemade foods, watching movies and just visiting with her family and friends. Christina loved spending time with her family and friends.
Christina is survived by her boyfriend, Danny Weatherholtz of Manassas, Virginia; one niece, T-Keria Mulbery of Rosston, aunts Bonnie Meyer, Glenda Hiner of Ontario, California, Sherry Martin of Ohio, Cindy Boswell of Alaska; numerous cousins and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Barbara Mulbery, brother Eric, husband Mike Alewine, great grandfather, Raymond Long, uncle Clayton, maternal grandmother Carla Jean Dale, maternal grandfather Wilber Dale, uncle Roy Meyer, great grandmother Ruth Long, paternal grandfather Connell Mulbery and E.E. Boswell, uncle Gerald Dean Mulbery, great grandmother Lois Helen Boswell.
Christina made special friends with everyone she met.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family at the Security State Bank-Laverne, PO Box 1147, Laverne, OK. 73848 or through the funeral home.
