Celebration of Life Service for Julio M. Aguilar, 44, of Enid, will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kelly Russell officiating. OU attire is welcome. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
Julio was born on September 12, 1975, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Michael and Norma Huntington Aguilar and passed away at his home on October 17, 2019.
Julio received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. On June 22, 2002, he married Jamie Kucera in Enid, where they made their home. Julio was an amazing Christian person, whose faith in God helped him throughout life. He loved spending time with his family, and he took care of his father until he wasn't physically able. Julio and Jamie taught together at Garfield Elementary for several years where he touched a lot of young lives as their PE teacher. He was an OU fanatic who enjoyed family cookouts to cheer on his Sooners. Julio was truly loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ron Kucera.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jamie of the home; four children, Kucera Aguilar and Jazlyn Aguilar, both of Enid, Mariah Cornish of Tennessee, and Michael Aguilar of Canada; his parents, Mike and Norma Aguilar of Enid; mother-in-law, Becky Kucera of Enid; sisters, Melissa and Brian, Wendy and Aaron Morse, Angela and LeRoy Watkins, Anna and Mike, all of Enid, Stormy and Juan Nieves of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Aguilar Family. Condolences may be made at www.andersonburris.com.
