Lois was born October 24, 1923 in Mangum, OK. to Carroll M. and Linnie [Stephens] Banister.
She graduated from Altus High School in 1941.
Lois owned and operated Lois's Country Kitchen in Altus for many years. She treated all of her customers with dignity and respect and as if they were famous. Custom wheat farmers could expect a hot meal at the Country Kitchen even late at night; Lois would then be back the next morning at five to open up.
Lois enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, and needle point.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special place was reserved in her heart for Baby, her dog.
Lois will be missed by many friends and family.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Parker and husband Robert, and Pam Russell and husband Ron, both of Lawton, and Patti Martin and husband Kevin of Edmond; a son, Bill Aduddell and wife June of Edmond; a sister, Nadine Winters of Lawton; a brother, Sonny Banister and wife Debbie of Ozark, MO.; eleven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in passing by her husband, Bernard Aduddell; parents, Carroll and Linnie Banister; a daughter, Jacque Dudley; a sister, Joann Ladd; and a brother, Bobby Banister.
