Kelly Renay Adkins was born September 5, 1966 to Donald and Marguel Adkins in Los Angeles, California. He departed this life September 7, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years.

Kelly, a longtime Bristow area resident, worked as a pipeline inspector supporting his family. He and Denise Buckley were united in marriage on August 21, 1985. Kelly and Denise enjoyed 37 years raising their children and building a life full of laughter and love. He enjoyed every moment spent with family especially his grandchildren. Often, time together meant playing cards or dominoes. He never passed up a chance to go bowling and always cheered on his Oklahoma State Cowboys. Kelly had his favorite westerns that never seemed to get old.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Denise, of the Bristow home; five children, Jessica Schonfield and husband Kyle, Dusty Buckley, Michelle Adkins, Eric Adkins and Shannia Caldwell; one sister, Phyllis Villanueva; six grandchildren, Nathan Buckley, Brooklyn Buckley, Taylor Schonfield, Tanner Schonfield, and Tatum Schonfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donald Adkins, Allen Adkins and Mike Culley; one daughter, Brooke Adkins.
