Virginia Ann Aderholt, 89, passed away Saturday night, October 20, 1984 in Borger, Texas.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, October 22, 1984 in the First Baptist Church, Wheeler, Texas with Luther Porter of Paducah, Texas and T. J. Pitman of Perryton, Texas officiating.
Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery, Wheeler, Wheeler county, Texas by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Aderholt was born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma. She was born April 14, 1895 and passed away October 20, 1984.
She married L. S. Aderholt on November 16, 1912 in Carter county, Oklahoma.
They moved to Wheeler county, Texas in 1928. They lived in Wheeler county and Hemphill counties until 1979, when they moved to Borger, Texas.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ting Aderholt.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Ray Aderholt of Fritch, Texas; eight daughters, Doris Hays of Wheeler, Texas; Alovis Allen of Amarillo, Texas; Lois Johnston and Estelle Topper, both of Borger, Texas; Lavois Anderson of Miami, Texas; Rita Grayson of Allison, Texas; Janell Grayson of Canadian, Texas; and Armenda Jones of Tulia, Texas; a sister, Transie Williams of Ardmore, Oklahoma; seventy one grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; and seventy great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Gerald Anderson, Keith Aderholt, Mike Aderholt, Johnny Grayson, Duane Hays and Jimmy Topper.
Mr. and Mrs. Aderholt were married almost 72 years; they would have been November 16, 1984.
All but two of her grandchildren attended the funeral.
