Betty Virginia Blair Adcock passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025 into the arms of Our Savior, at the tender age of 95.
Betty was born in Chanute, Kansas on April 16, 1929, to Hazel and Walter Blair.
She grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma where she graduated in 1947. While in school she obtained a Letter in Dramatics, a Certificate of Achievement from the Tulsa Business College, and was a member of the Owasso High School Band where she played the Flute.
Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Owasso for many years.
She took great pride in her passion for painting, sewing and as a homemaker. She was a gifted cook and prepared many meals on the farm, creating a welcoming home for all who entered.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hazel, her brother Bobby, sister Kathryn Tumleson and son Walter Wayne Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Kandis Jones Hallam and her husband Rick, granddaughter Blair Hallam Vanscoyoc, great granddaughter Elly Vanscoyoc, all of Owasso, Oklahoma. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Fry and Alberta Gober, both of Owasso. Bettyʼs memory will be cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bettyʼs life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will be missed beyond measure.
The family of Betty has entrusted her care to Dighton Moore Funeral Home, of Owasso, Oklahoma.
