Steve Adams

Steve Adams
???? ~ October 15, 2016 | Age 66

Steve Adams, 66, left this world to join his Heavenly Father on October 15, 2016. He fought a long and courageous battle with numerous health problems, but always had a smile on his face throughout the journey.

Steve was born and raised in Southern Ohio. There he began his machinist career by working for Parker-Hannifin in Waverly, Ohio. He then moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to work with TRW Reda Pump as a 2nd shift supervisor in the machine shop. He then fulfilled his dream of owning his own machine shop and began Adams Manufacturing Company. After retirement, his most recent endeavor was his part time job at Sears in the hardware department. He loved meeting people and telling them about his church, Life Church and Jesus.

Steve loved life to the fullest! He was the kindest, most generous individual anyone could've known. He would tell you, anytime, any day, that his grandchildren were his life! He loved his family so much! And he was proud of every one of them.

He leaves behind Jan, his wife of the home, daughters, Stacey Adams and her children, Cody, Ashlee, Shelby and Erica of Bartlesville, and Stephanie Abbitt and her five children of Yuma, Arizona, his Bonus children, Brad Warwick and wife Marla and his children Braedan and Bradlee of Broken Arrow and Summer Warwick of Tulsa, two sisters, Sue Veach and husband Larry of Stockdale, Ohio, and Brenda Thacker and husband Randy, of Minford, Ohio, and his brother, Wayne Adams also of Minford ,Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Life Church-Owasso Campus, 14008 East 96th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055.

Memorial services for Steve will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Life Church-Owasso Campus with Pastor Rob Beckley officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Friends who wish may sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.stumpff.org.
