Phyllis Ann Adams entered the gates of Heaven on June 21, 2026, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born on August 2, 1949, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to Rev. Lee Adams and Norma Sprague Adams.
Phyllis spent many years as a Bridal Consultant for Dillard’s throughout the 1990s, where she enjoyed helping brides prepare for one of the most special days of their lives. She had a passion for decorating, loved Home Interiors, creating beautiful floral arrangements, and was an avid fan of Indy Racing. Above all, she treasured being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Phyllis will be remembered for her kind heart, loyal friendship, and unwavering love for her family. She brought warmth and beauty into the lives of those around her and leaves behind many cherished memories.
Those left to carry on her memory include her daughter, Carrie Standridge; her son-in-law, Steve Cales; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Cashmere.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Lee Adams and Norma Adams; her baby brother, Danny Wayne Adams; and her daughter, Shandy Lyn Cales.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Phyllis's honor.
Phyllis’s love, grace, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
